About

Erin Hofmann, Strategy and Application Lead at The Commons, works to align technical services with operations and missions of environmental organizations. Erin brings over a decade of experience working with a variety of stakeholders to building strategies and processes that weave strong science and smart software into the programmatic and operational arms. Prior to joining The Commons, Ms. Hofmann most recently managed the Marine Program portfolio at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Ms. Hofmann has held positions at The Nature Conservancy, The National Audubon Society, and the Northern Alaska Environmental Center, as well as in both the high technology operations consulting and finance sectors. Erin holds a BA from McGill University and a MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University. In her spare time Erin likes to grow things, get lost in the woods or a good book, and chase waves and waterfalls - all with two rambunctious kids and spouse in tow.
