Robbie O'Donnell

About

Robbie works to support Commons platforms and programs while providing outreach and engagement to stakeholders seeking to better harness their environmental data. Through this work he also is the acting coordinator for the Water Data Collaborative and helps manage and organize the Steering Committee, shape brand identity, and help create/administer WDC programs in order to build the national infrastructure to enhance community water quality science at the local scale in regional and national data-driven discourse and decision making.

Prior to joining The Commons Robbie served as the Watershed Program Manager for Anacostia Riverkeeper, working to advance their water quality programs, provide outreach and education to the community, and serve as a project manager for watershed grants. Robbie has over a decade of experience in water quality monitoring, environmental education, and water conservation. Robbie received a  B.S. in Geology from the University of Mary Washington and a M.S. in Marine Science from University of North Carolina Wilmington.
